Managing and editing Coherence apps
The Your Apps sidebar on the Coherence X6 home screen is the app library. It lists apps created or updated for the current Coherence generation.

Find an app
- Enter a name in Search apps….
- Filter the library by All, Standard, or Tabbed.
- Sort by Name or Date in ascending or descending order.
Double-click an app row to launch it.
App actions
Move the pointer over an app and open its gear menu. The available actions are:
- Launch — open the app.
- Duplicate — open the creator with a copy of the app’s configuration and a new name.
- Edit — change its URL, name, icon, browser engine, imported-data choices, tabs, options, or Link Routing rules.
- Export — save its configuration for use on another Mac.
- Show in Finder — reveal the
.appbundle. - Delete — permanently delete the app from its save location.
Deleting an app is destructive and cannot be undone. Export its configuration first if you may want to recreate it later. Exported configurations do not contain live browsing data such as cookies, current sessions, or history.
Edit an app
Select Edit to open the same full-page interface used during creation. Make your changes and select Update App.
Quit the created app before updating it. Changes to Link Routing and session restoration are designed to reach a running app, but structural changes—such as its browser engine, icon, or imported profile data—should be made while the app is closed.
Duplicate an app
Select Duplicate when you want a similar app with an independent identity and data directory. Coherence proposes an unused name and opens the creator so you can change any settings before selecting Duplicate App.
Apps from an earlier Coherence generation
Apps created by an earlier major version may not appear in the X6 library until they are updated. Use Coherence > Update Apps… and then refresh the library.
