Managing your Unite Pro App Library

Every app you create with Unite Pro appears in the sidebar, which acts as your app library. This article covers how to find, organize, launch, edit, and delete your apps.

The Sidebar

The left sidebar lists all your Unite apps. It updates automatically whenever you create, edit, or delete an app.

Searching

A search field at the top filters the list as you type. It matches against app names and URLs.

Sorting

Click the sort icon (or use the context menu) to change the order of the list:

  • Name — Alphabetical
  • Date Added — Newest first
  • Last Used — Most recently launched first

Launching an App

From Unite Pro: Select an app in the sidebar and click Launch in the detail view, or double-click the app in the sidebar.

From Finder: Your Unite apps are real .app    bundles saved in your Applications folder (or wherever you chose when creating them). You can launch them directly from Finder, Spotlight, or the dock — no need to open Unite Pro first.

Viewing App Details

Click an app in the sidebar to see its detail view on the right. This shows:

  • The app's icon, name, and URL
  • Display mode and key settings
  • Action buttons: Launch, Edit, Export, Delete

Editing an App

Select the app and click Edit, or right-click and choose Edit. The creation sheet reopens with all current settings pre-filled. Change anything you like — URL, name, icon, display mode, options, enhancements — and click Save to apply the changes.

Note: Saving edits rebuilds the app bundle. The process is fast (a few seconds) and does not affect your browsing data, saved passwords, bookmarks, or history in the app.

Duplicating an App

Right-click an app in the sidebar and choose Duplicate (requires Pro). This creates a new app with the same settings, name (with "Copy" appended), and icon. The duplicate opens in the edit sheet so you can customize it before saving.

Useful for creating similar apps with slight variations — for example, two Gmail accounts using different user agents.

Deleting an App

Right-click an app in the sidebar and choose Delete, or select it and click Delete in the detail view. A confirmation dialog will appear. Deleting removes the .app    bundle from disk and removes the entry from your library.

Warning: Deletion is permanent. If you want to keep a copy before deleting, export the app first using Importing, Exporting, and Backing Up Apps

Context Menu Quick Actions

Right-clicking any app in the sidebar gives you a quick-access menu:

  • Launch — Opens the app
  • Edit — Opens the edit sheet
  • Export — Saves a .uniteconfig    backup (Activated users only)
  • Duplicate — Creates a copy (Activated users only)
  • Delete — Removes the app

App Count and Free Tier

The sidebar shows how many apps you've created. On the free tier, you can have one app. The "New Application" button and duplicate action will prompt you to upgrade when you've reached the limit.
