Keyboard Shortcuts in Unite Pro
Unite apps come with a comprehensive set of keyboard shortcuts for navigation, tabs, window management, and more. You can view, search, and customize all shortcuts in Settings → Shortcuts.

Opening Shortcuts Settings
- Open a Unite app.
- Press ⌘, or go to the app menu → Preferences…
- Select Shortcuts from the sidebar.
Customizing a Shortcut
- In the Shortcuts settings pane, use the search field to find the action you want to change.
- Click the shortcut field next to it.
- Press your desired key combination.
- If it conflicts with an existing shortcut, Unite will warn you. You can override the conflict or choose a different combination.
To reset a shortcut to its default, click the shortcut and press Delete, or right-click and choose Reset to Default.
Scope: App, Website, or Both
Each shortcut can be set to one of three scopes:
- App — The shortcut is handled by Unite's app-level behavior (e.g., opening a new tab)
- Website — The key combination is passed through to the website (e.g., useful for apps like Figma or Notion that have their own keyboard shortcuts)
- Both — Handled by the app first; if not consumed, passed to the website
The default scope varies per action. For example, navigation shortcuts default to App, while Edit shortcuts (⌘C, ⌘V, etc.) default to Website.
Tips
- Figma, Notion, Linear, and similar apps rely heavily on keyboard shortcuts. Set their shortcuts to "Website" scope so the app's shortcuts work as expected.
- If a shortcut isn't working inside a site, check if it's set to "App" scope and change it to "Website" or "Both".
- You can search the shortcuts list by action name or key combination.
