Activating Unite Pro

Unite Pro includes a free tier that lets you create one app at no cost. This article explains how to upgrade to a full Pro license, how to activate it, and how to manage your activation across Macs.

Free Tier Limitations

Without a Pro license, you can:

• Create one app
• Use all features within that app
• Edit the app as many times as you like

With Unite Pro activated, you can:

• Create unlimited apps
• Export apps as .uniteconfig   backups
• Import apps from backups
• Migrate Unite 6 apps to Pro format

Purchasing Unite Pro

You can buy Unite Pro directly at bzgapps.com/unite, or subscribe via Setapp if you prefer an all-in-one app subscription.

Activating with a License Key (Direct Purchase)

1. Open Unite Pro.
2. Go to the Unite menu and choose Register License…
3. In the dialog that appears, enter your license email and license key exactly as they were delivered in your purchase confirmation email.
4. Click Activate. Unite Pro will contact the activation server and confirm your license.

Once activated, the license banner in the sidebar disappears and all Pro features are unlocked.

Tip: If the Activate button doesn't respond, check that you're connected to the internet and that the email matches the one used at purchase.

Activating via Setapp

If you have a Setapp subscription, Unite Pro activates automatically when you install it through the Setapp app — no license key required. All Pro features are available as long as your Setapp subscription is active.

Setapp Check-In Requirement

Apps created with a Setapp-activated Unite Pro require Unite to be opened at least once every 30 days to verify your subscription is still active. If more than 30 days pass without opening Unite, your created apps will display a "Subscription Verification Required" dialog asking you to open Unite Pro.

To resolve this, simply open Unite Pro. Your apps will resume working immediately after the check-in.

Deactivating a License (Moving to a New Mac)

Each Unite Pro license can be activated on one Mac at a time. To move your license to a new machine:

1. On your current Mac, open Unite Pro.
2. Go to the Unite menu and choose Deactivate License…
3. Confirm the deactivation. Your license is now freed up.
4. On your new Mac, follow the activation steps above.

Note: Deactivation requires an internet connection. If your old Mac is no longer available, contact support to manually release your license.

Troubleshooting: "License Code Has Already Been Utilized"

This error means the license key has already been activated on another machine and was not properly deactivated. To resolve it:

1. Deactivate Unite Pro on the original Mac (see above), then re-enter your license on the new machine.
2. If you no longer have access to the original Mac, contact BZG support with your purchase email and they'll reset the activation.
