Managing Passwords in Unite

With Unite, managing your passwords has never been easier or more secure. By default, each Unite application comes with an encrypted password manager.

When you log into a website within your Unite application for the first time, Unite will prompt you to save your password. This convenience feature allows you to remain logged in across sessions and removes the need to constantly re-enter your credentials.

The privacy of your sensitive data is of paramount importance to us. Unite encrypts your passwords using Cryptoswift, a powerful, state-of-the-art library that provides high-standard encryption techniques. This means that your passwords are scrambled into an unreadable format, providing an extra layer of security.

To manage your passwords, navigate to the 'Passwords' page within the 'Settings' of your Unite application. Here, you can:

  • Toggle the password manager on or off: If you prefer not to use the password manager, you can disable it at any time.
  • Search for saved passwords: If you need to review or manage your saved passwords, you can easily locate them using the search function.
  • Manually add new passwords: If you want to save credentials without logging into a site, you can manually add new passwords.

Please remember that while Unite's password manager provides robust security measures, it is crucial to follow best practices for creating strong passwords and regularly updating them. This will enhance the overall security of your data.
