I see 'Coherence Error - Chrome profile can't be null' when I try to create an app

There is currently a known Coherence bug effecting some users that causes this error message to appear when trying to use Brave or Microsoft Edge for an app. 

This error can be ignored and you can continue in the creation process. Once you've created an app, you can install extensions directly in app by going to the Chrome extension store.

Additionally, this error sometimes fixes itself by installing Chrome on your machine (though this is not required and is usually not necessary)
